Pour que le cerveau\u00a0vieillisse bien, il doit \u00eatre bien nourri et bien oxyg\u00e9n\u00e9. (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alz.org\/braintour\/blood_vessels.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.alz.org\/braintour\/blood_vessels.asp<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>J\u2019entends souvent : \u00ab Dans cette famille, tout le monde est atteint de la\u00a0maladie d\u2019Alzheimer, c\u2019est la g\u00e9n\u00e9tique \u00bb. Pour plus de 95% des gens, la\u00a0g\u00e9n\u00e9tique est une fragilit\u00e9 plut\u00f4t qu\u2019un g\u00e8ne d\u00e9fectueux transmis d\u2019une\u00a0g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e0 l\u2019autre. Lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019un g\u00e8ne, la mutation est plus\u00a0fr\u00e9quente que la transmission de ce g\u00e8ne. D\u00e9mence fronto temporale (tr\u00e8s\u00a0rare), Huntington et Alzheimer jeune (50 ans) proviennent plus souvent de\u00a0l\u2019h\u00e9ritage g\u00e9n\u00e9tique.<\/p>\n<p>ApoE, cette prot\u00e9ine \u00ab fragile \u00bb chez certaines personnes, augmente ou\u00a0diminue le risque d\u2019\u00eatre atteint. En ce qui concerne l\u2019apoE4, il est\u00a0impossible de proc\u00e9der \u00e0 un d\u00e9pistage, car le risque peut-\u00eatre soit\u00a0augment\u00e9, soit diminu\u00e9. L\u2019ApoE3 n\u2019affecte pas le risque. L\u2019ApoE2 r\u00e9duit le\u00a0risque alors que l\u2019ApoE1 l\u2019augmente.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Voici les facteurs de risques reconnus mondialement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Le principal facteur de risque non modifiable est : _____ (r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la fin du\u00a0document).<\/li>\n<li>Le 2e facteur de risque non modifiable est la g\u00e9n\u00e9tique\/ histoire familiale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Facteurs de risque modifiables :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diab\u00e8te de type 1 et 2 diagnostiqu\u00e9s entre 20 et 79 ans \/ mal g\u00e9r\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Hypertension art\u00e9rielle ayant d\u00e9but\u00e9 entre 40 et 60 ans \/ mal g\u00e9r\u00e9e<\/li>\n<li>Ob\u00e9sit\u00e9, surtout abdominale<\/li>\n<li>Tabagisme<\/li>\n<li>Faible stimulation en bas \u00e2ge<\/li>\n<li>S\u00e9dentarit\u00e9 (***une activit\u00e9 physique qui r\u00e9duit le risque = se sentir\u00a0essouffl\u00e9 150 minutes\/semaine)<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9pression, surtout apr\u00e8s 65 ans (n\u2019est pas encore compris, on sait par contre que la d\u00e9pression avant 65 ans n\u2019augmenterait pas le risque)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*** On croyait que le cerveau stoppait sa croissance \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge adulte. Les nouvelles recherches ont prouv\u00e9 qu\u2019apr\u00e8s 12 mois d\u2019exercice, on voit des changements biologiques : le volume de l\u2019hippocampe augmente, l\u2019augmentation des connexions des neurones, de nouvelles synapses, l\u2019augmentation de la m\u00e9moire, l\u2019augmentation du volume total du cerveau. Il n\u2019est jamais trop tard pour commencer !
