This training is based on a large clinical experience, additional training on best practices, and a review of recent literature.
Objectives:

- To recognize the different types of dementia
- To identify the behavioural and psychological manifestations of dementia
- To predict the occurrence of challenging behaviours
- To reduce by 85% agitation behaviours (wandering, intrusion, resistance to care, aggressive outbursts, suspicion of theft, crying, repetitive vocalization, etc.).
- To demonstrate adequate skills while caring for people with dementia
- To select the right care and prevention measures to deal with challenging behaviours
- To develop communication modes and prevention strategies.
