The U.E.C. are units of continuing education.

The U.E.C. respond to the characteristics of accredited training hours (ACFA).

OIIQ excerpt: «The continuing education standard has been in effect since January 2012. As a nurse or nurse practitioner, you must record the hours of training you have taken during the past year to report them when registering for the next year’s chart.»

These 20 hours of continuing education must meet certain criteria, of which seven hours must be accredited.
